Meet The Team

Kasper Ødum Buur
Head Coach, Sportsefterskole Sjælsølund & former Prof. badminton player.
Danish born Kasper Ødum Buur has been a fulltime coach since 2010. Before Ødum became a coach, he was a professional badminton player, highest ranked no. 21 in world, in Mens single.

Being a part of the Danish National Team from 2001 to 2006, he experienced the world travelling all over for tournaments.
​
Since 2004 Ødum has been organizing camps and badminton trips for young players as well as coaching in many different clubs in Denmark.
​
In 2019 Ødum was awarded Best Coach in Denmark.
Ødum resides north of Copenhagen with his wife, Charlotte, and their daughter, Nanna!

Dennis Christensen
Head Coach, KMB 2010 & former National Coach
Danish born Dennis Christensen is a professional badminton coach with over 23 years of experience training athletes across Europe and the US. In 2014, Christensen relocated to the United States from Europe to establish the region’s premier badminton facility and academy, Badminton NC (BNC).
Prior to starting BNC, Christensen worked extensively with European athletes as well as coaches - from developing training programs for the Swiss Badminton Federation to serving as National Coach for the Italian (2000-2001), Swiss (2004-2009) and Swedish (2011-2014) teams, and tournament coach for the Danish National Team, US Pan Am Male and Female Cup head coach (2020). A player’s coach, Christensen believes mistakes make the best teachers.
Most notably, during his tenure as National Coach, Christensen helped players in qualification for the Olympic games in Sydney 2000 (Agnese Allegrini/ Maria Louisa Mur), Beijing 2008 (Jeanine Cicognini / Christian Bosiger) and London 2012 (Henri Hurskainen).
Dennis currently serves as Head Coach in KMB 2010.
